We start by collecting used jars. We save all the ones our own family uses, and collect some more from family and friends. As well, we use the websites Nextdoor and Facebook to ask members of our community to save their old jars so that we can repurpose them.

Once we bring the jars back to our home, our next step is to clean them up. We soak them in a bath of warm water and soap to get out any leftover food or product residue and then peel the original labels off, in order to make it a 2KAMP product.

Once the jars are all cleaned up, it is time to make the candle! We start of the candle-making process by putting a wick into the jar to get it ready for the wax. Our next step is melting the wax. We prefer to use Soy Wax for a good burn and fragrance throw.

Once the wax is poured, we let the candle sit. 24 hours later, it is time to put on our 2KAMP label and it's ready to burn!
